Highs and Lows: August 2015's Best and Worst Movie!

August, we're sick of summer and your let down films. Bring on the Oscar movies!!

We are here to share with you our picks for the best and worst theater movie from August 2015! This helps us recap what we really liked and what we absolutely hated every month, and it will also let you know what film is worth spending your money on and what you should avoid entirely.

Here are our picks for August!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*August 2015's Best Release"Straight Outta Compton" -  The highly anticipated N.W.A. biopic did not disappoint us in the slightest. Insanely well acted by a powerhouse group of up and coming actors, "Straight Outta Compton" might gloss over a lot of facts about the groups key members Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, and Ice Cube, but what biopic doesn't? This film is so well crafted, you don't even need to be a fan of N.W.A.'s music to appreciate how good it turned out. It also deals with pertinent political issues we still face as a society today, so it's just as necessary now as it was when the group rapped "F*CK THA POLICE" many decades ago. A great movie! Our rating: 9/10.
*August 2015's Worst Release"Fantastic Four" - Was there even a smidgen of debate about what was the worst movie of August this year? While "Fantastic Four" tied "Sinister 2" in terms of score for the worst movie of the month, we expected "Sinister 2" to be awful. We had absolutely no idea how vehemently we would hate "Fant4stic," how much of a disappointment it would be, how disappointing a movie could be. Let's just say it has sunk far, far into our psyches; how low will a studio go in order to maintain the rights to a franchise? Watch this piece of crap movie and you'll find out.  Our rating: 2.5/10.
