Highs and Lows: October 2015's Best and Worst Movie!

The end of October means there are only 2 months left in 2015! Wow, time sure has gone by quickly this year!

We are here to share with you our picks for the best and worst theater movie from October 2015! This helps us recap what we really liked and what we absolutely hated every month, and it will also let you know what film is worth spending your money on and what you should avoid entirely.

Here are our picks for October!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*October 2015's Best Release"Steve Jobs" - A sharp, dialogue-driven script written by Aaron Sorkin, a beautiful directorial job by Danny Boyle, and an excellent, transformative performance by Michael Fassbender as the titular man himself come together to make "Steve Jobs" an amazing film, even if the public at large is tired of hearing about the man himself. This one is the best movie of October in our opinion and absolutely worth checking out if you're a fan of the technical aspects of film, even if you just watch it at home. Our rating: 9/10.
*October 2015's Worst Release"Jem and the Holograms" - Sloppily written, lazily constructed, shoddily directed, not acted well, and basically devoid of anything from its source material other than names of characters and places, "Jem and the Holograms" will go down as a box office flop. Even though it only cost $5 million to make, it still won't even clear its budget because it's doing so poorly in the few theaters still playing it. Atrociously bad. The best part about how bad this movie is is how we still get a chance to complain about it, because seriously, if we deter even one or two people from watching this garbage, we'll be content in our lives as movie reviewers.  Our rating: 2/10.
