Hey, movie lovers! Hope you had a great weekend! Here are your weekend box office results!

"Don't Breathe" maintained its hold on the #1 spot at the top of the box office charts this weekend, pulling in an additional $15,700,000. Its domestic 2-week gross sits at $51.1 million. In second place yet again was "Suicide Squad," despite several newcomer films to the roster this weekend. "Squad" made $10,005,000, and its domestic run sits pretty at $297,422,209. Coming in third place this weekend was "Pete's Dragon," which saw a resurgence back into the top 5 this holiday weekend. It pulled in an additional $6,471,000, and its month-long domestic box office run has now made it $64.2 million. "Kubo and the Two Strings" dropped to #4, and since these are early estimates, the razor thin margin could be closed and this could eventually change with "Pete's Dragon" once the actual numbers are released. For now, it pulled in $6,467,000. Finally, "Sausage Party" still clung to the top 5, adding $5,300,000 to its whopping $88.4 million dollar domestic total gross. Newcomer "The Light Between Oceans" claimed the #6 spot, and newcomer "Morgan" had a hard time latching onto moviegoers, just barely making the top 20, but nowhere near the top 10.
