We are here to share with you our picks for the #1 best and worst theater movie from May 2015. This helps us recap what we really liked and what we absolutely hated every month, and it will also let you know what film is worth spending your money on and what you should avoid entirely!
Here are our picks for May! It's interesting to note that our May 2015 picks both feature female-driven stories, one really good and one horribly awful.

*May 2015's Best Release: "Mad Max: Fury Road" - Sheer, utter chaos to the point that it's almost poetic. Firing on all cylinders from start to finish, this is absolute heavy metal eye-candy backed by a tremendous and empowering story for its female lead, Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron. An intense visual masterpiece meets ramped up insanity. Believe the hype. Our rating: 10/10.
*May 2015's Worst Release: "Hot Pursuit" - Honestly, this is the one of the worst movies BigJ and I have ever seen. Almost nothing about it works, especially the pairing of Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara, unless you want to hear them bicker at each other like imbeciles for an hour and a half. The dialogue is atrocious, the comedy and its timing are horrendous, and the jokes are a slew of vile racist, sexist, ageist, ableist and homophobic drivel. And worst of all? IT WAS DIRECTED BY A WOMAN, who should have known better. Our rating: 1.5/10.
