"Minions" takes the big banana in its opening weekend at the box offices!
It's a good day to be bad as
"Minions" claims the number one spot at the box office this past weekend. The Universal/Illumination Entertainment property pulled in an estimated $115,202,285 in its opening weekend, the second biggest U.S. opening for an animated film ever.
"Jurassic World" wins the battle for second place henchman, adding another $18,116,865 to its massive $590,655,185 domestic gross. Disney/Pixar's
"Inside Out" settles politely into third place, pulling in an additional estimated $17,108,000, bringing its total to a whopping $283,638,304.
"Terminator Genisys" drops to number four already in its second week out, earning another $13,700,000, and the low budget horrible found footage horror film
"The Gallows" closes out the top five in its debut week.
