We are here to share with you our picks for the best and worst theater movie from December 2015! This helps us recap what we really liked and what we absolutely hated every month, and it will also let you know what film is worth spending your money on and what you should avoid entirely.
Here are our picks for December!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*December 2015's Worst Release: "Point Break" - Even though this film will miss our top 15 worst films of the year, don't get us wrong, the "Point Break" remake is absolutely pointless. The acting is bad, the script is sloppy, the interactions between characters is both meaningless and emotionless, and the plot could have been something sort of cool without the remake status hindering its execution. Not the worst movie of the year, but still not good. Our rating: 4/10.
*December 2015's Best Release: "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" - Of course our favorite movie of December 2015 was "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens." Merging the old classic franchise with new, updated characters and a hefty dose of nostalgia, this movie is fantastic from an execution standpoint, from a writing standpoint, and from an acting standpoint. Breakout stars and fan favorite throwback characters find themselves in intergalactic turmoil. The practical effects are a-many, and the sci-fi adventure and action is a-plenty. Do yourself a favor and see this movie in the theater, it is SO WORTH IT!! Our rating: 9.5/10.
