"Deadpool" continues to dominate the top spot, "The Witch" exceeds expectations

"Deadpool" continued its impressive run as the top earner this weekend, pulling in an additional $55 million, bringing its 2 week domestic total gross to $235.3 million. Don't say The Merc With A Mouth never gave you anything! Coming in second place this weekend was
"Kung Fu Panda 3," again unmatched in kids movie competition, which pulled in another $12,500,000, bringing its domestic total gross to $117.1 million. In third this weekend was the first of the week's new releases, the faith-based film
"Risen," which made $11,800,000. In fourth place was another new movie called
"The Witch," an R-rated, highly acclaimed horror film, which brought in $8,685,270. Finally, rounding out the top 5 this weekend was the comedy
"How to Be Single," which made $8,220,000.
