"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" slams mightily into March with a whopping weekend opening

Hey, movie lovers! Happy Easter! Hope you had a great weekend! Here are your weekend box office results!
"The greatest gladiator match in history" has now been unleashed on moviegoers, and "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" came out on top to the tune of $170,100,000, shattering March box office records. It may see no end to its success as no huge blockbuster film comes out until Marvel's "Captain America: Civil War" in early May. Coming in a distant second was "Zootopia," which added $23,138,000 to its growing domestic total gross, which currently sits around $240.5 million. Coming in third was the second newcomer this weekend in the form of a very new sequel to a semi-old rom-com, "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2," which made $18,120,000. "Miracles From Heaven" came in 4th place this weekend, adding another $9,500,000 to its $34.1 million domestic total gross. Finally, rounding out the top 5 was "Allegiant," the third film in the "Divergent" series, which plummeted from second place to tie "Miracles" by making $9,500,000. Of course, when the official numbers come out tomorrow, things might change and these two films may flip flop, but we can't say we're shocked because of how mediocre this film was.
