"The Girl on the Train" chugs into the number one spot, leaving others in its dust

Hey, movie lovers! Hope you had a great weekend! Here are your weekend box office results!
The book-to-movie adaptation of "The Girl on the Train" claimed the number one spot at the box office this weekend despite mixed reviews. It pulled in an impressive $24,600,000. "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" dropped to second place this weekend, adding another $15 million to its two-week $51 million domestic total gross. In third place was "Deepwater Horizon," adding an extra $11,750,000 to its two-week $38.5 million domestic total gross. In fourth place was "The Magnificent Seven," which has had a very good three-week run at the box office. It adds another $9.15 million this weekend, and finally, in fifth place, was "Storks," one of the few kids movies out right now, which added another $8.45 million to its domestic gross.
