Highs and Lows: March 2015's Best and Worst Movie!

Happy April, everyone! We are here to share with you our picks for the #1 best and worst theater movie from March 2015! This helps us recap what we really liked and what we absolutely hated every month, and it will also let you know what film is worth spending your money on and what you should avoid entirely.

Here are our picks!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*March 2015's Best Release"What We Do in the Shadows" - Technically, this movie came out in 2014, but we just got it in our area thanks to fan requests online! "What We Do in the Shadows" is a hilarious mockumentary about a group of vampire roommates who spend their nights trolling the streets of New Zealand looking for their next meal. After the oldest vampire Petyr 'turns' another victim, Nick, he becomes the group's newest roomie. We get a taste of what it's like to see transitions from human to undead, as well as vampire quibbles about dishes and household chores, and their ever prominent fight with a local group of werewolves. Starring the funny "Flight of the Concords" stars Jemaine Clement and Rhys Darby, alongside Taika Waititi, Ben Fransham, Cori Gonzalez-Macuer and Jonathan Brugh, this one is sure you split your sides. Our rating: 9/10.
*March 2015's Worst Release"Unfinished Business" - We could have handled another mediocre Vince Vaughn movie, but a mediocre Vince Vaughn movie with hardly any laughs, tacked on subplots, a rambling outline of what it wants to be but with no continuity, and pot-shots at the disabled? Come on, you're better than that, Vince. Boring and forgettable, "Unfinished Business" isn't one to waste your time or money watching. Our ratings: 3.5/10 & 4.5/10.
  1. That vampire one sounds funny. I want to say I saw something about it in a newspaper or magazine. It looked hilarious and intense. Poor VV. He has been sucking it up :-/
    1. Vince Vaughn has had a real bad streak lately. Yikes! Definitely check out "What We Do in the Shadows" when you get a chance, it's really, really funny. The fights between the vampires and the werewolves are genius, LOL!
