"Ant-Man" wins its first weekend out; "Minions" not far behind

Well, another weekend has come and gone, and Marvel's latest film in its cinematic universe topped the box office as expected, though slightly less than projected. The fun superhero flick "Ant-Man" came in at #1, pulling in an estimated $58,040,000 in its debut weekend. The animated film "Minions" continued to be a force to be reckoned with, finishing in the #2 spot with $50,244,705 in its second week out. Also debuting this week was the romantic comedy "Trainwreck," starring Amy Schumer, which finished in third with a respectable $30,237,850. Disney Pixar's "Inside Out" finished in fourth place atop the charts, adding another $11,660,000 to its total, moving it north of the $300 million mark domestically. Finally, the box office juggernaut that is "Jurassic World" settled into fifth place, pulling in another $11,361,465, bringing its domestic total to a gargantuan $611,135,300, and its worldwide gross to over $1.5 billion.
