"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" maintains one month of #1 status; "In the Heart of the Sea" a close second
After a tepid weekend at the box offices,
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" maintained its #1 status for another week, giving it a month long run at #1 before "Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens" comes out next weekend which will annihilate everything in its path. Coming in at #2 was
"In the Heart of the Sea," Ron Howard's latest directorial effort, which brought in a mild $11,005,000, so we were right in this prediction.
"The Good Dinosaur" rose one spot to #3 this weekend by making a relatively impressive $10,497,000 despite so-so reviews.
"Creed" took in another $10,120,000, bringing its domestic total gross to nearly $80 million. It claimed the #4 spot. Making far less than we anticipated,
"Krampus" wrapped up the top 5 this weekend by bringing in $8,010,000.
