"Suicide Squad" was able to hold onto the #1 spot for the second weekend in a row by making $43,770,000, which puts its domestic total gross at $222.8 million in just two short weeks. R-rated newcomer "Sausage Party" crushed expectations by coming in #2 this weekend. It made an impressive $33.6 million in its opening weekend. The Disney remake of "Pete's Dragon" failed to capitalize on its opening weekend, and though it made $21.5 million, that's still a few million below studio projections. In its third weekend out, "Jason Bourne" dropped to #4 by making $13.6 million, and rounding out the top 5 was "Bad Moms," which added $11.45 million to its $71.4 million domestic box office gross.
